In contrast to informal networking, cooperative business networks are a form of strategic cooperation. Thereby, each company provides its core competence to the network and sources other competencies from the network. Each organization can further develop its core competence and the whole network gradually becomes a network of excellence. Besides knowledge, companies can also share risks and costs, providing these networks with a great innovative potential.
Public authorities have realized this potential and provide funding for the initiation of cooperative networks and clusters, as well as for cooperation between them.
From our working experience with some networks and analysis of others, we have a good understanding of how to initiate and manage networks successfully.
In particular, we can:
- Introduce you to the concept of cooperative networks
- Develop a network strategy (including funding possibilities)
- Support the selection of cooperation partners
- Identify their core competencies
- Organize and moderate network meetings
- Support the development of a cooperation agreement
- Initiate and coordinate network projects
- Support trust building
