Innoassist was founded in October 2005 under Austrian law by Mr. Matthias Nöster (Mag.) as a sole trader with a trade certificate for consulting and information technology.

Matthias holds an Austrian master in Pure Economics from the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration, where he majored in Corporate Finance. He also completed an MBA Certificate in International IT and Telecom Management and is currently doing an MSc in Technology Management at the Open University, UK (distance learning).

Matthias spent several years in Brussels, Belgium, where he worked for a consultancy specializing in European research, development and innovation projects and programmes. He was responsible for the acquisition of new projects, the management of projects and socio-economic research carried out within the projects.

Back in Austria, he started his own company Innoassist with the vision of increasing the innovativeness and hence competitiveness of Austrian companies, particularly SMEs. This embraces an increase in national and international innovation activities, and a more effective approach to innovation management.

Matthias is a knowledge worker that aims to constantly develop the four types of knowledge: Know why, know what, know how, and know who.
